handwritten letters in cursive writing overlaid each other on a table. The words 'a love letter from me to you' are overlaid digitally.

6 things i wanted to share with you…

I was writing some thoughts down earlier, and wanted to share them with you, albeit it in a more beautiful way than I'd originally scrawled, so here’s a love letter from me to you:

Dear Friends,

I know that you may not have checked off everything on your endless to-do list. Guess what? That's perfectly okay! It doesn't diminish your worth or mine. In fact, I'd like to challenge you to join me in finding three things about ourselves that we can truly be proud of. Can you do this for yourself?

Now, let's talk about something that's often challenging to accept—there will always be people who just won't like you. Yes, I cringed when I wrote that too, but it's the truth. However, here's the magic: it really doesn't matter. There are so many others who love you for who you are, and that's a beautiful thing. The messy path to self-acceptance is, in fact, the most rewarding journey.

Our bodies are miracles of design. They are incredibly beautiful in their own unique ways. Please, let's not judge their amazing abilities based on their conformity to a specific size. You are perfect just as you are.

Remember this, your words have incredible power, and they're making a difference in the lives of others. Sometimes, people may not reach out to express their appreciation, but it doesn't mean they don't feel it. Your kindness and wisdom are like a guiding light for those who need it.

The weekends might not be perfect. But they will undoubtedly contain some beautiful moments. Life is not a highlights reel; it's a collage of all the experiences, both highs and lows, that make you who you are. Embrace it.

Lastly, give yourself the gift of an early night. It's amazing what a little extra rest can do for your body and soul.

With love,

Laura x
