Running quarterly, these are joy-giving day workshops with Laura (Power of Mum) and Ali and Finn (The Positive Planner)
An uplifting and inspirational day in a beautiful, creative setting that will leave you feeling wonderful. This is your chance to work alongside Laura, Finn and Ali, and seven other wonder women, to leave the day feeling like you’ve found true clarity and confidence.
Find out more about what a typical workshop involves by checking out the info about our most recent day…
Find out what creativity means to you, get real clarity and bring confidence into 2019
There is nothing more magical than a group of supportive, nurturing women, being boldly creative together, laughing and learning from one another. You feel like you are limitless. And that the work you are doing actually matters, and can be applied to all areas of your life. Plus you make beautiful pieces of Art that you can take back into your home.
A day of mentoring, of reflection, of laughter, food, creativity, and fun. We will ask you to think profoundly about the life you really deserve to have - the conditions that bring you and your family the most joy. We want to spark thought, inspiration and positivity through this process.
THE VENUE AND THE OTHER PARTICIPANTS
The workshop takes place in the workshop space at the back of Sarah and Bendrix, a stunning shop with carefully curated products for children and adults (bring some cash - you'll want to buy treats!)
It is two minutes walk from Cheam Station, Surrey.
The address is 6 Upper Mulgrave Road, Cheam Village, Surrey, SM2 7AZ.
There is plenty of local parking nearby.
The other participants…will be just like you! Beautiful, amazing women who deserve this special day, this chance to make, reflect and learn.
They won’t be all Insta-trendy (though some of the last lot did look absolutely gorgeous).
They’ll be normal, brilliant, flawed, wonderful women just like you.
a day of learning, thinking and making
Creating vision boards, designed by an expert in the field (Ali loves doing this as part of her work with the Positive Planner and alongside creatives in the world of Design and Theatre Design)
Creating positive goals - taking small steps that lead to real action in our lives
Creating beautiful embroidery - deciding upon your power word or phrase for 2019 and embroidering it there and then - yes you can!
Creating a vision for 2019 - a group coaching session that is supportive and realistic, not icky or designed to bring about feelings of judgement or discomfort
Abundant cake and other delicious snacks, and pastries on arrival (can you tell we love food?!)
Delicious tea and coffee in proper mugs
A beautiful visualisation exercise to reassure and excite you about 2019
1. Where is it and at what time?
See above and 10.00am-4.30pm.
2. Do I have to be "creative"?
No! Although we think everyone is. You just need to come with an open mind that is ready to be flooded with positivity and planning.
3. What's included?
All materials (though you can bring your own for the vision board activity, and I'd bring a preferred pen if that's what works for you), coffee, tea, delicious afternoon cake and other treats. Lunch is NOT included, but there are dozens of restaurants and cafes on the doorstep.
4. Can I bring my friend?
As long as you both buy a ticket, of course!
5. I don't know anyone - is this going to be all cliquey?
NOOOOOO! Laura and Ali HATE that kind of thing - we want you to leave feeling like you've made eight new friends (though if quiet and reserved is your thing, that's cool too)
6. Is my ticket refundable?
I'm afraid not, though you can transfer it to someone else.
7. How much is it?
The total cost including all resources, cake and booking fee is £118.
8. I don't have a business...
That's fine - this is as much about what you want your whole life to look like, regardless of business or SAHM or employee.
9. Is it the same thing on either day?
Yes! Our last event sold out, so we wanted to offer two dates this time.
10. I want to come, but I'm a bit scared about making this investment.
I get it - I really do. It's not like buying a shoes - you can't "try before you buy". But the value of this day is quite incredible. It’s more than worth it - start 2019 showing yourself that you matter. Investing in experiences where you make stuff and connect with other people is glorious, and far more worth it than splashing out on joining a diet club or signing up to gym membership that will be forgotten in February…
