Planning and Positivity: An Exclusive Day Workshop with Laura Oldfield (Power of Mum® Coach) and Ali McDowall & Finn Prevett (The Positive Planner) Thursday 27th September, 9.30am-4.00pm.
We are so excited to bring you this exclusive one day event, which will inspire, educate, get you being creative and leave you with a purpose, a plan and a profound sense of positivity.
This is for any woman who is in business or who is thinking about it, any woman who is a crossroads and is wanting to be in a beautiful and nurturing space, or anyone who just wants to have a truly inspirational day.
We will be making beautiful things, eating delicious cake and planning for our businesses and our lives.
Taking place at The Workshop, Cheam (part of the beautiful Sarah and Bendrix Shop) we will start the day with creating thought-provoking and transformational vision-boards, led by Ali, an experienced workshop leader and truly creative soul.
We will ask you to think profoundly about the life you really deserve to have - the conditions that bring you and your family the most joy. We want to spark thought, inspiration and positivity through this process.
After tea and coffee Laura will lead us in a group coaching exercise and discussion - this isn't supposed to make you feel awkward and like you have to share everything, but it is designed to get you thinking about your purpose, and how you can fulfil it while honouring all the different facets of your life. We will think about the Power of Words to Change and you will decide upon your power word or mantra.
In the afternoon it's time for some hands-on creativity: using hoops and canvas Ali and Finn will invite us to create a simple embroidery of your power word, that you can take away with you for ongoing inspiration! This is a process that can be done by anyone - you don't need to be a "creative person"!
After delicious and abundant cake (and other treats) we will finish with a detailed goal setting task - looking at a more creative way of doing 90 day plans based upon you and your whole life, your vision for the year ahead and some goals for the next month.
There are an absolute maximum of ten places available - we have no leeway on this as we want to guarantee you our full attention and care - so get booking! FAQS below...
1. Where is the venue?
The workshop takes place in the workshop space at the back of Sarah and Bendrix, a stunning shop with carefully curated products for children and adults (bring some cash - you'll want to buy treats!) It is two minutes walk from Cheam Station, Surrey. The address is 6 Upper Mulgrave Road, Cheam Village, Surrey, SM2 7AZ. There is plenty of local parking nearby.
2. Do I have to be "creative"?
No! Although we think everyone is. You just need to come with an open mind that is ready to be flooded with positivity and planning.
3. What's included?
All materials (though you can bring your own for the vision board activity, and I'd bring a preferred pen if that's what works for you), coffee, tea, delicious afternoon cake and other treats. Lunch is NOT included, but there are dozens of restaurants and cafes on the doorstep.
4. Can I bring my friend?
As long as you both buy a ticket, of course!
5. I don't know anyone - is this going to be all cliquey?
NOOOOOO! Laura, Ali and Finn HATE that kind of thing - we want you to leave feeling like you've made ten new friends (though if quiet and reserved is your thing, that's cool too)
6. Is my ticket refundable?
I'm afraid not, though you can transfer it to someone else?
7. How much is it?
The total cost including all resources, cake and booking fee is £112.
8. What about if I want to spend the day with you AND GO TO SUPPER CLUB IN THE EVENING?
That's fine - if you're snappy you get to book one of our JOINT SUPPER CLUB AND POSITIVITY AND PLANNING TICKETS (we only have a few of these) - these cost £140, giving you a £15 saving. Pretty awesome, huh?
9. I don't have a business...
That's fine - this is as much about what you want your whole life to look like, regardless of business or SAHM or employee.
10. I want to come, but I'm a bit scared about making this investment.
I get it - I really do. It's not like buying a shoes - you can't "try before you buy". But the value of this day is quite incredible. It's £2 more than an hour long call with Laura (my prices are about to go up) and the value of Ali's advice and content (the girl has swipe up on her Instagram doncha know) is worth the ticket price alone.
