POWER OF MUM #1000TINYSTEPS
You love your life - but there's so much you want to do, and seemingly no time to do it all.
Every time you commit to one thing, another thing is sacrificed. It's a constant juggle and it leaves you feeling like you're always compromising, unable to commit to what you really want your life to look like. You're not saying you're unhappy, or that you need to start it all over again, but it would be so nice to just have more time...
And - if you're really honest - when you finally get the time (kids in bed/ work ended for the day now it's time to start on the passion project whoop!! / you book a day off) you sit. And procrastinate. Until - WHERE THE HELL DID THAT HOUR GO?!
It feels like things are going well - but couldn't they be better. When does the time arrive when you're going to get time just. for. you.
Or do you feel like you're nailing one area of life? Your business? BOOM. Your meals - you are the goddess of meal planning. Your leisure time...
...sorry, what's that?!
Or are you just, plain tired. Tired of comparing yourself to others and finding yourself wanting?
Quietly imagining what life could look like but unable to accept that you could have that too - feeling like you will never be "confident" enough to get it. It's all a bit overwhelming, so you get paralysed by it and nothing changes.
I've been there. I still am there sometimes. I totally get it. It's EXHAUSTING.
But I have spent the last twos year steadily and forensically researching, investing and exploring ways to use as much of my precious time to do things that make my heart sing. Things that make me realise that...
the only person in control of my time and my life is me.
Easy to say - harder to accept. But I've done it. I've worked on this again and again and again (and again...)
And now I want to share with you my combination of positivity, action, creativity and a bit of woo thrown in, so that you can start to accept that with:
it's time to find beautifully simple (but not easy) balance.
